Paleo Mint Simple Syrup

This tasty and refreshing Paleo-friendly mint simple syrup is a great way to jazz up your drinks and desserts. Made with honey and fresh mint leaves, its a healthy substitute for conventional simple syrups.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup honey

Instructions:

Add the water and mint leaves to a small saucepan

After bringing to a boil, lower heat, and simmer for ten minutes

Take off the heat and allow to cool a little

Pour the mixture into a clean jar by straining it through a fine mesh sieve

Incorporate honey into the straining liquid and mix thoroughly

Before using, allow it cool completely

Keep refrigerated for a maximum of one week
