Pineapple Cake with Cheese Cake Filling Parfait
Indulge in the delightful layers of pineapple cake, creamy cheesecake filling, and a hint of nutty goodness in this Birds Daily special parfait.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups crushed pineapple
- 2 cups cake crumbs
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional
Instructions:
To make the base layer, mix cake crumbs and melted butter in a bowl
Place a small amount of the base layer in each parfait glass and gently press it down
Cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract should be mixed together until smooth in a different bowl
Add the whipped cream to the cream cheese mixture and mix it well
On top of the cake crumbs in the glasses, put the cream cheese mixture
Put crushed pineapple on top of the cream cheese layer
Keep adding layers until the glasses are full, and top it all off with a layer of crushed pineapple
Put it in the fridge for at least two hours to set
If you want, you can add chopped nuts on top before serving
