Rigatoni with Shredded Brussels Sprouts & Bacon
This Rigatoni with Shredded Brussels Sprouts & Bacon dish is a delicious combination of hearty pasta, crunchy bacon, and nutritious Brussels sprouts. Its a satisfying meal thats perfect for a cozy dinner or a special occasion.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb rigatoni pasta
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, shredded
- 6 slices bacon, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the package to cook the rigatoni until it is al dente
Remove the water and set it aside
Fry bacon bits in a big pan over medium-low heat until they are crispy
Take the bacon out of the pan and place it on a plate lined with paper towels
Put olive oil and minced garlic in the same pan
For about one minute, saut until the food smells good
Put the shredded Brussels sprouts in the pan and cook them for 5 to 7 minutes, until they are soft
Put the cooked bacon back in the pan and mix it well with the Brussels sprouts
Mix the cooked rigatoni in with the sauce in the pan by tossing it around
Add pepper and salt to taste
Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the pasta and mix it around some more
Add fresh parsley on top and serve hot
