Tatar Tot Recipe
These homemade Tatar Tots are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with a cheesy flavor that will delight your taste buds.
Ingredients:
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and grated
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup finely grated cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix together grated potatoes, flour, cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined
Form the mixture into small tots or cylindrical shapes
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat
Fry the tots in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side
Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce
