Vegan GF Apple Kale Green Smoothie
You can make this Apple Kale Green Smoothie without gluten or dairy. Its a healthy and tasty way to start the day. Its a tasty and healthy treat because the apple, kale, and banana are full of vitamins, minerals, and fiber.
Ingredients:
- 1 green apple, cored and chopped
- 1 cup kale leaves, stems removed
- 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup optional
- 1 cup ice cubes
Instructions:
In a blender, combine the chopped green apple, kale leaves, sliced banana, almond milk, coconut water, ground flaxseeds, and maple syrup if using
Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy
Add the ice cubes and blend again until the smoothie is thick and chilled
Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately
